First Kids Children's Ministry
First Kids Children’s Ministry exists to reach children and their families with the Gospel of Jesus and empower them to walk with Him.
Values that guide us:
Form relationships - We want your child to form relationships with other kids and with adults that can be a positive influence in their life.
Involve the family - “No one can influence the life of a child more than a parent.” We truly believe this.
Relate to children - We plan what we do around what kids enjoy so they want to be here.
Safe environment - We guard your child like our own with uncompromising security.
Teach the Bible - God’s Word is the foundation for everything we teach.
Join us for:
First Kids Bible Fellowship - Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
If you have little ones from birth to 5 years of age, our nursery is available during the 9:30 a.m. Bible Fellowship classes and the 11:00 a.m. Worship hour. Please make sure diaper bags and bottles are labeled with your child’s name. It is our privilege to nurture, care, and pray for your precious children as they grow and learn about Jesus. We hope to see you soon!
AWANA - Wednesday Nights at 6pm
Age 3, Pre-K4 and Pre-K5
AWANA Cubbies Club provides a framework for spiritual training in the home under the supervision of the parents. One handbook, filled with Bible verses and activities for parents to do with their children at home, is completed each year. Club activities include games, puppets, crafts and verses that are memorized to receive stickers and patches for the Cubbie blue vest. Story Time reinforces the Bible verses being learned.
Kindergarten through Grade 2
AWANA Sparks’ handbooks teach basic truths about God, Jesus Christ, salvation and the Bible. A clear and consistent presentation of the Gospel message is made each week. The Bible is presented chronologically, and details about Bible characters are told in captivating biographies. Students earn jewels to place in their aviator wings as they complete the three handbooks: HangGlider, WingRunner and SkyStormer. They will memorize 65 verses within three years. Game Time offers team and individual competitions that are fast-paced and high-energy.
TNT (Truth and Training)
AWANA TNT is designed to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. The four handbooks are each built around eight different questions about God, the Bible, salvation and Christian living. Students memorize eight different Bible passages for each question. At the end of the four-year program, students will have memorized 310 Bible verses to receive the cherished Timothy Award (2 Timothy 2:15).
