We are excited to invite you to our first annual ALL IN: FBC Family Conference! Mark your calendar for Friday, March 3 – Sunday, March 5. This event is designed for the entire family with activities for parents, students, and children. The theme “All In” comes from Deuteronomy 6:4-7:
4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”
In other words, we teach and disciple our children and teenagers in the ways of the Lord ALL the time! The conference includes worship, fun family activities, youth activities, informative breakout sessions on practical ways to disciple children and youth within the home.
Leading us through the weekend we have pastor and author, Brian Haynes. Brian serves as Lead Pastor of Bay Area Church in League City, Texas. His passion is to help people, families, and churches thrive for the glory of Christ and the expansion of His kingdom. Brian is the creator of the Legacy Milestones strategy designed to inseparably link church and home to equip the generations. He is a graduate of Baylor University, Southwestern Seminary, and Liberty Theological Seminary where he earned a Doctor of Ministry for his work in discipleship and family ministry. He is the author of three books, Relentless Parenting: The Crucial Pursuit of Your Teen’s Heart; Shift: What it Takes to Finally Reach Families Today; and The Legacy Path: Discover Intentional Spiritual Parenting. He is also a contributor to Collaborate: Family+Church edited by Michael Chanley. Brian is a family ministry contributor and a speaker on the issues of church, family, discipleship, and the next generation.

Students and Parents,
Disciple Now Is Here! It will be Thursday, March 3 – Sunday, March 6 and the cost is only $50.
Some of you may be asking, “What is Disciple Now?” Disciple Now is a weekend event for our 6th - 12th graders that takes place here in Roswell. We divide the students into boys groups and girls groups and place them in host homes with adult leaders from our student ministry. The theme this year is No Place Left and is based on Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” We will come together as a large group to eat meals, worship, participate in evangelism training, and share the gospel with our community. Some of our students will be leading worship and our speaker will be Bryant Jones. Bryant serves as the Executive Pastor for The Commons in Seattle and oversees the processes of the church. With the heart of a pastor, he is constantly looking to bring encouragement to those taking their next step in their spiritual life. He spends a great deal of his time in discipling relationships with others, helping them process how to live a full life in following Christ. He is also a gifted worship leader, communicator, and trainer full of insightful wisdom to lead out in ministry.
We will be having a DNOW banquet again this year for all the students participating and their parents. This will be Thursday, March 3 at 6:00 p.m. Dinner is on us, so come enjoy a night of worship and food and see what DNOW is all about.
