As believers we are called to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ who gives us a purpose for life and hope.  The Missions Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Roswell seeks to empower God’s people to be on mission to Southeast New Mexico, America and the World. As a fully devoted follower of Jesus, you are not called to only one area. You are called to all three: Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, the remotest parts of the earth. We are all called to go across the street, across the states and across the seas…This is how we accomplish this at the First Baptist Church of Roswell.

We encourage all of our members to do missions in the following areas:

• Jerusalem (Roswell) - Participate annually in community outreach with our church in Roswell.
• Judea and Samaria (Southwest United States) - Participate in mission trips led by our church in this part of our country once every five years.
• Remote Parts of the Earth (Outside the United States) - Participate in a mission trip to another country or continent led by our church once in your lifetime.

Jireh is a servant ministry of our church that provides much needed clothing, shoes, and Bible teaching to our lower income families in Roswell.  All who have need are welcome, and Jireh is available to the community on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Jireh Ministry is located in the basement of our Student Center on the Southwest side of our campus.  Jireh will be not be open during the summer months.
